GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE BY LA CÉDILLE IMMERSION

Article 1 – Scope of Application

These terms of sale are concluded between La Cédille Immersion, 284 Chemin du petit Cheinet, 06260 La Rochette, SIRET Number 89989639300019, an organizer of language immersion stays, and any physical or legal person, private individual or professional who wishes to engage in a service offered by La Cédille Immersion, accessible on the website www.lacedilleimmersion.com.

Article 2 – Object

The general terms and conditions of sale define and regulate the terms of sale of language immersion stays subscribed with La Cédille Immersion, excluding any other conditions.

Article 3 – Prices of Language Immersion Stays and Services Included

The price of the stay will be established on a quote and sent by email to the customer based on the options they have chosen. The price indicated in the sample quote remains an indicative quote. It will vary depending on the options chosen by the participant.

Article 4 – Registration and Booking

The customer’s registration for the stays offered by La Cédille Immersion will be validated after the customer returns a completed immersion contract previously sent by email by La Cédille Immersion. By returning the registration form, the customer accepts these terms of sale without reservation. The booking of the stay will be made on the period or periods offered by La Cédille Immersion and after the participant’s agreement and will only be effective upon receipt of the reservation payment. Minors must attach a signed authorization from both parents to their registration file and a copy of their health insurance during their stay in France.

Article 4.1 – Reservation Payment and Full Payment

The customer will be asked to make a reservation payment of 30% of the total stay, at most 30 days before the start of the service, in order to reserve their stay. This advance payment will only be made by bank transfer to the bank account of Cédille Immersion. The remaining 70% will be paid to Cédille Immersion upon the customer’s arrival according to the terms agreed between Cédille Immersion and the Customer, with the exception of payment by bank card. From then on, the stay invoice can be issued. Cédille immersion reserves the right to cancel the stay if the payment of the 70% is not made within 48 hours after the participant’s arrival.

Article 5 – Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund

If the customer cancels or reschedules the stay less than 30 days before the start of the agreed services, the 30% of the reservation payment will not be refunded, except in cases of force majeure. If the participant cancels before the 30-day deadline, the advance payment will be fully refunded. If rescheduling is requested before this 30-day deadline, the 30% can be kept by Cédille Immersion for the reservation of other stay dates, but a refund is also possible.

If you have to cancel the stay during your stay due to force majeure, with the full stay being paid upon the customer’s arrival, Cédille Immersion will refund the participant pro rata for the consumed stay.

Cédille Immersion reserves the right to cancel or shorten the stay in case of force majeure affecting it and without delay. If the stay has not begun, the refund of the 30% (Article 4.1) will be total. In the case of a cancellation during the stay, with the full stay having been paid upon arrival, the participant will be refunded pro rata for the consumed stay.

Force majeure cases:

Serious illness

Accident

Hospitalization

Natural disaster

Death of a loved one

Article 6 – Insurance

Our participants agree to take out an insurance contract covering cancellations, accidents, illnesses, injuries, losses or theft of personal items, and also accidents involving a third party. We strongly recommend liability insurance. Cédille Immersion cannot under any circumstances assume responsibility for accidents or damages caused to third parties or property during the entire stay.
